Mitchell Feierstein
Mitchell Feierstein is the principal behind the Glacier Environmental Fund Ltd. He has 40 years of financial markets experience, working over three continents and countless different areas of the financial markets. He has been one of the most noted innovators in the derivatives field, pioneering the LEBA energy index (which remains the gold standard in its area). During his tenure as the Senior Portfolio Manager of the Cheyne Carbon Fund, part of one of the largest hedge-fund groups operating in Europe, he authored the Voluntary Carbon Standard (intended as a model for the federal GHGprogram) which created an entirely new commoditized asset class in “Green Energy”. The VCS has enabled carbon credits to be traded globally, thereby helping international corporations and others to securely manage their environmental impact. He was a noted bear in the years leading up to the financial crisis of 2008-09. His investments in gold and equity market puts (a form of derivative) enabled him to make substantial profits for his investors during the period of crisis and place him amongst the elite band of investors who can truly claim to have predicted the scale of the coming disaster. His views on the broader financial scene remain intensely influential.

Growth, Inflation and the Central Bank Policy | Bergos
Growth, Inflation and the Central Bank Policy- a transitional year for fixed income as an asset class? Bergos is an independent, internationally operating Swiss Private Bank. Our team is dedicated to a clear focus: protecting and growing wealth. We serve family entrepreneurs, privateers, shipping clients, and the next generation. Our name stands for Berenberg and Gossler and with that for our founding fathers, Hans and Paul Berenberg in 1590 and Johann Hinrich Gossler in 1769. Our name honors the many generations who, for more than four centuries, fostered entrepreneurial thinking, good education, and personal integrity. It expresses the ideals of independence, continuity, and openness to the world. We understand, respect and value this responsibility.
