Mr Sharaf is COO at Dubai Economic Development Corporation (DEDC), subsidiary of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism. He is responsible for attracting investment and world-class talent to Dubai to drive the city’s continued growth envisioned under the D33 Agenda.
Mohamed began his career as an investment professional with Dubai International Capital (a Dubai Holding investment vehicle) before holding leadership roles with companies including Arab Media Group and Dubai Holding Entertainment, where he led the operations of Dubai’s largest entertainment portfolio.
He has served on a wide range of company boards, including Israq Holding, Travelodge, Rivoli Group and StandardAero.
