Simon Martin
Pallant House Gallery
Simon Martin is Director of Pallant House Gallery in Chichester, one of the leading regional modern art museums in the UK. He is a Trustee of the Artist Collecting Society and previously was on the Board of Charleston, on the Fabric Advisory Committee of Chichester Cathedral, the Courtauld Association Committee and International Art Advisor to the Contemporary Art Museum, Kumamoto, Japan. He has written and contributed to numerous books on modern and contemporary British art, including on the artists Edward Burra, Kaye Donachie, John Minton, Eduardo Paolozzi, Glyn Philpot, Colin Self, and Clare Woods, and thematic books such as _Drawn to Nature: Gilbert White and the Artists. _

Janine Catalano is an independent culture sector consultant and strategist, focusing on fundraising and philanthropy, partnerships, stakeholder engagement, organisational structure and business planning. A trained art historian with two decades of experience, she has held senior positions at the Courtauld Institute of Art, the Royal Academy, Sotheby's Institute, City & Guilds of London Art School and Whitechapel Gallery, where she was Director of Development. She now works with public organisations, supporting on income generation, partnerships and strategic resilience, and also with philanthropists, foundations and family offices to advise on meaningful giving and impactful partnerships in the arts.

Cameron Foote
Cameron Foote is a curator, writer and art collection specialist based in London and working internationally. For the past fifteen years he has developed exhibitions and publications at institutions including Whitechapel Gallery, Art on the Underground, Tate St Ives, and The Museum of Modern Art in New York, working with artists including Kai Althoff, Theaster Gates, Nicole Eisenman, Alicja Kwade, Delaine Le Bas, Candice Lin, Yoko Ono, Andrew Pierre Hart, Veronica Ryan and many others. Alongside his institutional practice, he works as an independent consultant, developing curatorial narratives and long-term strategies for significant private collections, artists and estates.

Francesca Sanderson

Fran has 25 years of experience in investment and innovation programme design and delivery. She started her career as an analyst and fund manager at JPMorgan, moving to the impact investment market in 2012 as an Investment Director at Better Society Capital, after living off-grid in Portugal for a year. She launched Figurative in 2024 from Nesta, and sits on UnLtd’s Investment Committee, RSC's Development Council and CoSTAR Foresight Lab's Foresight Board. She is also Treasurer of Theatre Peckham and a Trustee of I Stand Beside.  Fran has studied creative writing and is a keen amateur musician.

Figurative is a charity based in London, UK and incorporating Arts & Culture Finance and New Philanthropy for Arts & Culture. It specialises in raising and managing impact funds and designing impact frameworks - all tailored to the cultural and creative sector. It also offers global advisory services and conducts research into the future of cultural and creative funding and impact. Figurative manages three investment portfolios - the Arts Impact Fund, the Cultural Impact Development Fund, and the Arts & Culture Impact Fund.  Fran Sanderson is the organisation’s CEO; the Chair of the Board is Richard Brass. Charlotte Appleyard, Sarah Ellis, Sir Vernon Ellis, Helen Goulden OBE, Shanaz Gulzar and Francis Runacres MBE sit on the Board of Trustees. Figurative began operating in August 2024.
