Alistair Hughes graduated from Jesus College Cambridge in 1989 with a degree in economics and then worked as a strategy consultant with LEK in the UK, Australia and the Philippines. Wishing to “get his hands dirty”, Alistair went on to became involved with a number of smaller businesses from 1994, before, together with Stephen Winston, buying The Bedworks from The Savoy hotel in 1997 and creating Savoir Beds. Alistair is managing director and part owner of the luxury brand, which now exports around the world.
