Anthony Lacavera founded Globalive in 1998 where he serves as Chairman. In 2008 Anthony founded Globalive Wireless (operated as WIND Mobile) and was Chairman and CEO from 2008 - 2015. WIND Mobile was acquired for USD$1.3 billion in late 2015 after it grew to become Canada’s fourth largest wireless carrier. A serial entrepreneur, he started his first business out of university with a small business loan from the Royal Bank of Canada and has been a career telecom industry founder/CEO with 5 successful exits to date. In 2005 Anthony led Globalive to begin investing in early stage technology companies where Globalive now takes a founder-friendly approach to actively contribute from startup through to commercialization to scale up team building and ultimate exit. Globalive has invested in over 100 early stage technology companies and there are 45 companies currently in the Globalive group portfolio. Anthony is a regular television commentator and co-host of the TV series Beyond Innovation that airs on Bloomberg TV. He is an active founder and supporter within the Canadian incubator and accelerator ecosystem and a regular speaker on artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship and the telecommunications industry.

The Project is well serviced by existing infrastructure being located about an hour north of Rouyn-Noranda (~110 km), on a year round road, 10 minutes from an airport and just outside the town of Normetal (~8 km). In addition, the project is in close proximity to a a number of major gold producers’ milling operations.

Cardiol Therapeutics
Cardiol Therapeutics Inc. (TSX: CRDL; OTCQX: CRTPF) develops innovative cannabidiol therapies for heart failure. The company is expecting significant growth in 2020 as it moves to launch its pharmaceutical cannabidiol formulation in Canada. Cardiol recently signed a supplier agreement with Canada’s largest pharmacy chain, Shoppers Drug Mart, to become a medical cannabidiol supplier to the national chain.
