Scott Curtis
Antibe Therapeutics
Scott brings a unique perspective to funding and growing healthcare companies from his broad capital markets experience, where he was able to leverage his academic background in life sciences and computer engineering. His interest in biotechnology was sparked by the Human Genome Project and his studies in biomedical computing. Prior to Antibe, he was an investment banking professional with Bloom Burton & Co., a leading healthcare-focused investment dealer and advisory firm. Scott was also an Equity Research Analyst at Cantor Fitzgerald Canada where his coverage included Specialty Pharma. Scott holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Computing from Queen’s University, a Master of Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto and is a CFA charterholder.

Scott Stewart is Chief Executive Officer of IBI Group, responsible for providing executive leadership with a particular focus on operational management and execution. He became CEO in August 2013, and has been with the firm since 1983, initially as a transportation engineer and planner. He led the firm’s tech pivot and development of its Intelligence practice, turning it into a worldwide business with projects and offices globally. Mr. Stewart has been active in several professional organizations including Board seats with the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) and ITS Canada where he fulfilled various roles, including chair. Mr. Stewart has a Bachelor of Science (Civil Engineering) from the University of Waterloo.

Mr. Connelly joined NeuPath in July 2018 and was promoted to CEO in February 2019. Prior to joining NeuPath, Mr. Connelly’s previous roles were CEO of VroomHealth Inc; and CFO of Appletree Medical Group Inc., a company that operates over 30 primary care clinics. Mr. Connelly has played a leadership role in M&A transactions valued at over $200 million. Mr. Connelly holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University. Mr. Lemieux joined NeuPath as CFO in April 2019. Mr. Lemieux has more than 17 years of experience in public companies including over 8 years as a Chief Financial Officer and 13 years in the health care industry. Mr. Lemieux has been involved with or led numerous debt and equity financings, licensing and M&A transactions valued at over $400 million. Mr. Lemieux is a Chartered Professional Accountant.

Mr. Sobotta brings to Perimeter a diverse background in the medical devices industry, and, to date, has been a part of the deployment of over $4 billion in capital in acquisitions. Previously, Mr. Sobotta was the controller for the orthopaedics division of Smith and Nephew. From 2008 to 2019, he held roles of increasing responsibility at Stryker including internal audit, finance transformation, commercial excellence, financial planning and analysis, and ultimately led finance for their surgical business unit. Mr. Sobotta has lived and worked in North America, Europe, and Africa supporting commercial organizations across a wide range of medical technology including capital equipment, robotics, and implants.

With nearly two decades of experience in the cannabis industry, Jesse has an unparallel network of relationships in the industry and has been involved in the design and licensure of multiple facilities across Canada and the United States.
