“Ten years ago, Corporate Social Responsibility was something a department attached to marketing did and green was a colour. Today we have the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan, 1,859 organisations have signed the UN Principles of Responsible Investment, Al Gore is an ESG investor and everyone is offering impact investing. Has each evolution from CSR to impact investment changed anything? Is impact investing from KKR any different to impact investing from Triodos Bank? How would you know? If you want to invest for impact, where do you start?
Over the course of the session I will try to answer all these questions and hopefully more. Impact investing is ubiquitous, it probably needs a roadmap.”
