The most common theme for Family Offices since GPFO was founded was the steady "professionalisation" of the Family Office. This session will explore what this actually means and how to implement strategies and will include when to "insource" and when to "outsource", the implementation of technology and the use of consultants.

Fostering Entrepreneurship in the Family Office
Many Family Offices extol the virtues of fostering Entrepreneurship within the family to ensure future generations are engaged and can grow the family wealth. We will hear from Family Office principals on the ethos of entrepreneurship and service providers on how they facilitate this strategy. We will also ask if this is the right approach for wealth preservation in the long term?

Is there a case for the UK?
With shifting policy, changing sentiment, and increased media scrutiny, the UK’s role as a hub for global families is seen as under threat. However many have chosen to stay, and some have even moved to the UK. We’ll hear from those Family Offices and how they are adapting their structures and strategies to remain anchored in the UK as well as exploring the long term investment outlook.
