Aldo Garbagnati is the Chairman of the Emicapital Group, a Dubai based advisory framework specialized in supporting Corporations and HNWIs interested in doing business with the United Arab Emirates. Aldo founded Emicapital over 10 years ago and his Group now features multiple specialized structures such as consulting, trading, legal, real estate and financial. The financial activity is performed through a DFSA-licensed asset management Firm in the DIFC. This wide corporate infrastructure enables Aldo’s group to play a one-stop-shop role for families interested in the Arab Gulf area, served through their offices in London and Lugano. Aldo has a proven track record in the industrial, financial and trading sectors, having served European families for over 25 years. His experience covers the needs of families moving their operations abroad or starting venues in a new world region. An Italian National, Aldo grew and was educated in Switzerland and is fluent in English, Italian, French and Spanish, plus mastering the basics in Arabic. Among others, Aldo is a consultant to the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Public Works in the UAE, besides serving as advisor to Royal Families across the region on offshore regulatory Laws. In the last few years Aldo presented several publications, including a study on structuring family offices in the UAE, devoted to non-Muslim families. Aldo joined the Global Partnership to support the Dubai office.
